Procters Coaches, a subsidiary of The Go Ahead Group, is thrilled to announce the acquisition of the first two Mellor Strata Ultra buses, adding to The Go Ahead Group’s extensive fleet of 6,000 vehicles. The Strata Ultra, known for its impressive fuel efficiency and compact size, is the perfect addition to the fleet, catering specifically for rural routes around Ripon, Knaresborough, Harrogate, York, Helmsley, and Thornton-le-Dale.

These new additions to the fleet have a passenger capacity of 29 and come equipped with Kiel Ligero seats featuring seat belts, Mobitech destination equipment, Eberspacher heater, and USB sockets for passenger convenience.

The decision to integrate the Mellor Strata Ultra into their fleet stems from the bus’s excellent fuel consumption and its nimble size, making it ideal for navigating rural routes. The positive relationship with the Mellor sales teams also played a crucial role in this acquisition.
