Based on the Wirral, Hoylake Cottage is a care home that provides 24 hour nursing, respite, intermediate care and day care services for older people, including specialist services for those with dementia. Hoylake Cottage is a charity based in the heart of the local community. They rely on the support of volunteers, fundraising efforts and donations to help them develop new facilities.

In their quest to provide a first class service to all their residents and clients, Hoylake Cottage chose to invest in a Mellor Coachcraft accessible coach with seating for 15 passengers. The Mercedes Benz Sprinter 513CDI, medium wheelbase chassis cab with Euro 5 engine was aerodynamically designed for positive impact on operational costs. With access, safety and comfort being paramount, the coach was fitted ergonomically designed handrails, additional LED lights to illuminate steps, climate control for passenger comfort, cant rail tracking and a PLS wheelchair lift fitted underneath the vehicle at the rear.
