The Strata Ultras, based on the proven Mercedes Sprinter platform, are delivering a productivity boost for OTS with its impressive 30-passenger capacity, and the additional benefits of ‘small bus’ credentials. The Strata Ultra is one of a range of size- and cost-appropriate buses from Mellor, each offering a flexible solution for operators as they face today’s challenges of substantially reduced bus patronage.

OTS serves Falmouth, Helston and the surrounding areas, offering high-quality public bus services and contract coach hire. With the introduction of the new Strata Ultras, OTS is now able to deliver frequency improved services and higher specification vehicles with confidence. The new fleet additions are being put through their paces on intensive 15-hour services around local routes.

OTS’ new low-floor Mellor Strata Ultras are built on the hugely popular Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis and drivetrain. The configurable vehicles feature enhanced seating capacity for up to 30 passengers, including two wheelchairs. The buses also boast a highly durable, low-frame chassis, class-leading fuel economy of 22mpg, and an impressive total cost of ownership.
