High Legh Community Transport has recently taken delivery of a DFT funded Mellor Coachcraft Orion accessible. Transport for many people across Cheshire, remains a huge barrier and the Orion will help High Legh Community Transport to continue to carry out their important work in the community.

The vehicle will be used as a school service and to transport pupils to educational activities. The community benefits from a shuttle service for families and guests at special events, transport to airport and UK holiday destinations and a ‘Door to Dine’ service.

The economical low floor Orion is based on a Fiat Ducato Maxi and includes a Comfort-Matic automated gearbox, tachograph, cab air conditioning system, rapid side sliding electric door, front ramp, microswitch and buzzer, lift up roof hatch, four position lift up roof hatch and powered extractor fan.
