Mellor’s new Strata HF proves its paces at Highland conference

When the hotel shuttle temporarily broke down at this week’s Association for Public Service Excellence (APSE) Conference in Aviemore, a new Strata High Floor (HF) vehicle from Mellor was on hand to pick up the service of transporting delegates and exhibitors to their hotel.

Lorna Miller, National Sales Manager for Mellor, who was attending the conference, said:

“We received the call that the minibus had broken down and that visitors were having difficulties getting from the conference being held at the resort to their hotel.  As it happened, our new Strata HF was on show and we had no hesitation in offering it up as a replacement vehicle while the shuttle bus was being repaired.

“The 16 seat Strata HF transported people throughout the evening in safety and comfort and many commented how they thought the vehicle was the perfect solution for the provision of accessible transport.  We’re pleased that delegates and exhibitors alike enjoyed the ride experience from the Strata HF and we are glad that we were able to help.”

The high-floor version of Mellor’s Strata bus made its debut at the Commercial Vehicle Show in Birmingham last month.
