Serving the Lewes District and other parts of East Sussex since 1995, Community Transport for the Lewes Area Ltd (CTLA) provide affordable, accessible transport for individuals and groups with an emphasis on catering for those who have difficulty using conventional public transport services. They offer scheduled routes, Dial-a-ride, transportation to social events and links to medical services.

CTLA recently purchased a Mellor Orion low floor after qualifying for the Department of Transport Community Transport Minibus Fund. The Mellor Orion’s versatility makes it the ideal vehicle to serve the whole community regardless of age or mobility. The CTLA Orion, based on the Fiat Ducato Maxi, has capacity for up to 16 passengers and 3 wheelchairs with low floor allowing easy wheelchair access via a front access ramp and double rear doors with a 2.5m long fold out ramp to rear.
