Clowne CT add to their Mellor Fleet
Communities across the UK rely heavily upon the services provided by local Community Transport services.
Clowne CT provides a community Dial-a-Bus operation for people who struggle to access public transport in the Derbyshire area. Due to their affordable charges, they are also utilised by voluntary groups in the area to travel to many destinations across the UK such as holiday camps, football matches, theatre trips and many more that would otherwise be unaffordable.
Recently they have taken delivery of a new Mellor Fiat Low Floor, twin axle, Coachbuilt vehicle to replace their previous Mellor Vario which was almost 10 years old.
Jill Meeds at Clowne CT said,
“As funding becomes more and more difficult to come by, we have to make sure the vehicles we chose were perfect for the job. Our past experience with Alison Prince at Mellor made what should have been a difficult and time consuming decision, very straight forward.”
Clowne CT now runs a fleet of accessible vehicles that consists almost entirely of Mellor Coachbuilt vehicles.
